Sapporo Snow Festival

Sapporo Snow Festival

FastCounter by bCentral

I was born and raised in Sapporo through graduation from Sapporo Nishi High School. Sapporo is a big city with population close to 2 millions. It's in snow country and well-known for the Winter Olympic Games held in 1972. Another internationally well-known event is Sapporo Snow Festival. It is held in the early part of February every year. They celebrated the 50th year in 1999. Again this year, they will enjoy the huge crowd from all over Japan and the world. I don't care the "huge crowd" too much, but I'd love to see how they are doing. So, I'll present you a virtual Sapporo Snow Festival through many live cameras directly from the Festival sites.
