Dave's Nevada Links Page

During several trips to the Reno and Las Vegas areas, and generally traveling through Nevada in the past several years, I have compiled a list of web pages related to businesses, things to do, places to go and things to see in northern and southern Nevada.
Elko, Reno, Sparks, Stead and Verdi are in northern Nevada. Henderson, Las Vegas and Laughlin are in southern Nevada.
Regarding the Las Vegas links: I have nothing against Las Vegas NM. I've been there and it's a nice little place. This page happens to include Las Vegas NV. If you tell me about some Las Vegas NM sites, I may just post them.
Final notes: "Las Vegas" is Spanish for "The Meadows." "Reno" is not a Spanish word. "Stead" was formerly an Air Force base. "Verdi" is Italian for "green," but it's pronounced differently. "Laughlin" is named after Don Laughlin, who bought a lot of property in the 50's?, built a hotel / casino and "started" the community.
