TRAIL TO HOROMBO HUT

Hiking through the moorlands as a porter blazes by me.

Conditions Rainforest section is steep and muddy (hour and a half). Rest of hike is on a medium grade over rolling hills. Stream crossings are muddy.

Elevation Mandara Hut: 9,000 ft (2,700m)
Horombo Hut: 12,450 ft (3,720 m)
