Intermediate/Newcomer Games

If you're a new or returning bridge player we think you'll like the following games:

Just For Fun

Informal play and discussion. Just For Fun is a non-competitive game (no director, no master points given). The format is shuffle and deal, play, then a post-play discussion of the bidding and play of the hand. Players at each table decide how long a discussion to have. Each table plays at their own speed and stays together for the evening unless a rotation is necessary due to a partial table. Players provide their own supplies and snacks.

EZ Game

For players with less than 30 masterpoints. The EZ Game consists of a 20 minute lesson followed by 2 1/2 hours of play.  Players who come without partners will be matched with the next available "single" player.  The director will play ONLY to fill out a table so as to avoid a sit-out.

Each session consists of a minimum of 12 hands (usually 16, but dictated by the speed of play) with awards of fractional masterpoints. Hand records with analysis is provided. This class is a learning experience where players can request bidding help with problem hands of up to two questions per player. Meet other bridge players and enjoy free snacks and coffee.
